Get children off to a flying start with phonics with Little Wandle Foundations. As with all our programmes, Foundations has been developed in a range of settings by a range of practitioners. It incorporates the latest research about early language and literacy development so you can trust that you’re spending your time doing the things that make the biggest difference.

Support for your Foundations teaching comes in the shape of our bespoke Getting started recorded webinars covering each area of the programme – Phonics, Language and Love of Reading. We also offer live webinars throughout the school year. Our parent and carer workshop presentations, with accompanying handouts, give you everything you need to support families to reinforce the learning at home.

Specially-designed
Foundations resources include films, planning, presentations with sounds and illustrated handouts to teach 20 well-loved nursery rhymes. Our Love of Reading section features book plans with accompanying picture cards for the children to use in class. Throughout the programme our Foundations bears add a joyful touch!
